About Sozenta

AI that thinks on your machine.

Sozenta builds Veya, the AI-native workspace you talk to, and Vera, the enterprise AI fabric underneath it. We’re based in Mercer Island, Washington, and we ship every day.

Why we exist

For 70 years we built computers around not having intelligence.

Now we have it, and it changes everything. Machines can think at the edge, on your own device. They read and understand context. They become functional peers, not just tools.

It changes how software gets made, too. Agents write the code, but vibe coding alone is fragile, so we run it as an engineering discipline: tests, gates and a review on every change. First commit to launch took six months and more than 1,300 merged pull requests.

The endgame is a machine rebuilt around AI: a vertically integrated AI OS, all the way down to the hardware. Veya and Vera are the first pieces.

Founder & CEO
Brijesh Singh

Two decades building the plumbing inside public clouds. Named inventor on 19 US patents, 14 at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and 5 at Amazon Web Services: programmable data planes, live migration, memory-introspection security.

Engineer
Ojas Bayas

Built Veya’s conversational voice: you talk, Veya listens, does the work and answers out loud. He also built offline OCR and face recognition for Photos, tuned Qwen models so Veya responds better to prompts, and built Notes, among many other features.

Brijesh’s patent record
By mechanism family, and where each one shows up in Sozenta.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure · 14

  • Programmable network data planes: the request-shaping layer Vera is built on.
  • SmartNICs and packet processing: policy at line rate, without a proxy hop.
  • Intrusion detection on load-balanced traffic: checks on live streams, not just at the front door.
  • Edge-to-cloud migration: moving live workloads between hosts and regions without dropping them.

Amazon Web Services · 5

  • Hypervisor-level VM migration: where Trevi’s approach to surviving restarts comes from.
  • Memory-introspection security: seeing what a running workload is actually doing.
  • Cross-host data replication: keeping state consistent across process boundaries.
